So how do I join?
Becoming a member of We Are Discounts couldn’t be easier, below are the steps to sign up and some frequently asked questions.┬áVisit www.healthservicediscounts.com. Once signed up you will receive our emails and have access to the offers on our website. If you have limited access to your work emails, you might want to sign up with your personal email address.

Am I entitled to discounts?
Our discounts are available to :-

  • NHS staff (full time, part time or temporary/bank)
  • GP staff
  • Dental practice staff (if NHS)
  • Pharmacy staff (if NHS)
  • Retirees of any of the above groups
  • Students and trainees (e.g. medical or nursing students)
  • Volunteers in the health sector
  • NHS related Charities
  • Foundation Trust Members
  • Carers
  • Hospice staff
  • Family of NHS staff

To see the discounts you are entitled to, just log into our website.

To register, visit www.healthservicediscounts.com, select the appropriate membership type and fill in the form. If you have limited access to your work emails, you can sign up with your personal email address.

GP Staff
We don’t currently list GP surgeries on our registration form. To register as an employee of a GP practice, select ‘NHS Staff’ then choose the organisation you come under (e.g. Central Manchester CCG).

Dental Practices
You won’t currently find dental practices on our registration form, instead if you have an NHS ID badge or NHS email address, select ‘NHS Staff’ then choose the organisation you come under (e.g. Central Manchester CCG). If you don’t have either of these, you should register as ‘Other’.

Students
If you are currently in a placement and have a valid NHS ID badge, please register as ‘NHS Staff’ and select your placement organisation and address. If you are attending multiple placements, please select the address you spend the most time at. If you are not yet working in the NHS or attending a placement, please select ‘Other’ as your membership type until you start your placement.

Hospice Staff
If you are funded or part funded by the NHS and have an NHS ID badge or NHS email address, please select ‘NHS Staff’ during registration. Otherwise, you’ll need to register as ‘Other’. Any volunteers working in a hospice should register under ‘Voluntary Sector’.

Pharmacy Staff
If you have an NHS email address or NHS ID badge, then register as ‘NHS Staff’ and select the NHS organisation that funds your place of work. If you don’t see your address listed, then please select a close match.

Do I need a discount card?
You don’t need a discount card to access any of the offers on our website. Please refer to each offer for details on how to redeem it. Further information on how to redeem our discounts can be found here.
